This was in the Pueblo Chieftain today:

The Southern Delivery System pipeline proposal threatens far more adverse impacts on Pueblo and others downstream of Colorado Springs than the notorious Bureau of Reclamation environmental impact statement ever acknowledged.

Withdrawing that much water from Lake Pueblo and the Arkansas River and sending it to Colorado Springs would have startling consequences.
Ahhhh, Duh! Move the peoples to the water, not the other way around. There's a nice stretch of land between the Missouri and the Mississippi; namely Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota! Move there.

I think it's more like the Spocker or the Rocker! It's not a shocker.

I find it interesting that Fremont County looks like they will not allow the SDS to be built in their county, so if the Springs utilities does not like Pueblo's offer I wonder what they will do?
