This is the first significant snow in Pueblo proper. So far 4 inches of snow at my house. I will post pictures tomorrow. Oh and happy thanksgiving!

The fronts seem to come in small waves. Yesterday morning around 7 we had the 50/50/50 system come through by my house--50 raindrops, 50 snowflakes, and 50 m.p.h. winds. The snow levels start at around 5000 ft. in Mesa County.

So far I have 6 inches of snow at my house on the south side of Pueblo and it looks like 2-4 more inches tonight.

Here is a picture from last night:

and my pup, Doogie Houser, in the snow this morning.

The system finally cleared out of Mesa County yesterday afternoon. And here comes the cold! My thermometer is 7 degrees this morning. Highs will get back to 40 to 45 with another small system coming in this weekend.

A major snow storm is forecast here in the other Colorado for Friday through Monday. I sure hope so. We've had some snow, but mostly nothing.

Jim is right, it's a two part system. In Mesa County, it is mostly rain and maybe one inch of snow on Saturday morning. The second half of this comes through Monday and that's the one to watch. That system is what is causing all the problems in Oregon and Washington right now.

Weird that GJ's high was only 35 degrees where Telluride was 51, Gunnison was 43 as was Craig.

Today Friday at 2:10pm it's 60 degrees, with a howling wind and clouds. Crazy.

Northwest Colorado? 6 to 12 inches of snow from Rangely to Meeker to Craig to Steamboat Springs. In Grand Jct. itself, no snow but about a half hour of light rain. Snow level looks like 5500 ft. The Grand Mesa got a good dumping out of this front. Part two will be coming up Monday.

Pueblo proper is under a winter weather advisory for snow and the southwest suburbs are under a winter storm warning. It looks like 4-8 inches of snow in the city more in the southwest suburbs.

The snow has started in downtown Pueblo and my pup had to go on her walk while at work with me so I took some pictures.
