It was snowing at the rate of 2" per hour earlier. Seems to be slowing down a bit. Up to 20" as of 1:30.

Am watching the Weather Channel right now, one of the reporters is in Idaho Springs. Heh, waist deep in snow! Still not over in the mountains. Ah, springtime in the Rockies!

Saw Mike Seidel there yesterday when they only had 15".
We've received 41" and it is still snowing lightly. I love snow, but enough already!
This was our deck at 7:30 this morning...

Thank G*d these proms were cancelled. As last night went on, I thought maybe it was an over-reaction. But wow, just wow!

Well, yeah, part of the reason BoCo swim meet was cancelled was due to St Vrain schools cancelling all activities for the weekend, including prom. And I agree with prom cancellations wholeheartedly. Sounds like St Vrain are going to have their prom really-really late (May 14th?)
Now let's hope that it doesn't snow April 30th (Fairview-Boulder prom).

I love Boulder County. In Longmont we may have seen a whole inch of accumulation. Friends a few miles west of us have 2 feet.

This is one stubborn system, still hanging on in western Colorado. Calling for 3-4 more inches of snow before the system clears out of here.

I hope this thing is settled down, finally. I had to cancel moving last weekend, and have guys coming over to help tomorrow. Have next weekend left to get cleaned up and out of here.

This took me by surprise this afternoon. If I do get snow I will post pictures. Also, the suburbs southwest of town will get 6-12 inches of snow.
