I have noticed that...

Wait, what was the question again?

Never mind, I am going to go somewhere to get something.

Food. That's it. Food. I'm insanely hungry.

Do I know you?

There's a lot of people moving out of Colorado because its gotten too expensive. They say the number one reason is legal marijuana and everyone moved in. I called an old friend in Denver and he said "omg do not come here on april 20th! Everyone in the world will be here."

Colorado was the 3rd fastest growing state (Behind Arizona and Nevada) from 1990-2000 and the 9th fastest from 2000-2010. If the census's estimates are right and the rest of the decade plays out at the rate of the past 4 years, Colorado will grow less than a percentage point faster than it did the previous decade (17.6% by my back-of-the-napkin math vs 16.9% for 2000-2010.) Colorado's been growing fast for a long time - I seriously doubt marijuana has much of an impact on overall numbers, although I'm sure it has an outsized effect on certain demographics.

As an educator, I see more students using pot a LOT, often with parents or other family. Other than that, not much.

When you say 'students' do you mean grade school, high school, college....or students of all ages?

It's no secret I'm an advocate of legalization, but I surly don't want to see my kids, or others kids using pot until the legal age, even with a parent present. Now 18+ with a parent... in their own home...maybe....but the legal age is 21, and responsible parents should respect that age restriction. Just like alcohol.

That may be true or it may be that they are more open about it, the fact of the matter is considerably more than half of my graduating class in a rural area (graduating class was 121 kids from 3 towns combined for the school) smoked weed at least occasionally back in 1994, but nobody talked about it outside of the parties. I was considered an odd ball because I was at all the parties but refused to smoke weed after the 1st time when I decided I did not like it. Most of the teachers would have never guessed who did and did not, especially when many assumed I had due to some of my friends.

The biggest change I've noticed is the amount of bums everywhere has increased 10 fold.
