Planning on moving in may. I have friends in fort Collins but cost of living seems very high. What town fits my criteria best?

Safety & education (grade school children)
Cost of living
I'm in my late twenty's so not a retirement town
Liberal
Non religious
Things to do- restaurants, parks, etc.

I'd prefer a suburb, and not right in the middle of metro.

Are you bringing a truck full of money with you? Compared to LA, the cost of every thing here is insane. Do you have a job? Have you even visited the state, in February? I guess look at Denver and the surrounding towns. Anyway, good luck.
