Just kidding, I'm not a hippy I'm a fly fisherman. My wife and I were in Dillon (about 90 minutes west of Denver). My buddy's got a condo on the reservoir, and he was nice enough to let us use it.

I've never been to Colorado before, but now I see why people say it's so beautiful. The town of Dillon (out by Breckinridge) was mostly deserted, but I'm guessing after the first snowfall it will be a zoo.

The Blue River was "gin clear".

Oh, and except for a few hobos in Denver, I didn't see any evidence of "reefer madness"

Politics makes strange bedfellows. As a right-wing gun owner I find myself having to defend people that want to smoke weed, or same sex marry, or have an abortion.

Why, not because I want to smoke weed, or same sex marry, or have an abortion, it's because much like gun control I WANT LESS FRIGGING GOVERNMENT IN MY LIFE, NOT MORE.

But once Hillary/Bernie win, we'll all be on easy street because of all the free **** they're going to give us

Its a win win for me if either party wins. If we go full socialist I will just get on welfare and mooch off the state. If a capitalist wins I will be fine since I have plenty of money I can't lose.

I'm not exactly "right wing" - I like to think of myself as somewhere in the middle, so, as someone that owns guns, smokes the reefers from time to time, and has many gay friends.... THANKS

Default Flyfishing Hippy in SouthPark!

How about this. I'm a flyfishing Hippy! Great shots of Dillon resevoir and (Blue or Snake?) Our condo used to be in Keystone so we are familiar with those scenes. We loved Summit County but consistently found ourselves up Hoosier Pass and hanging out in Alma and Fairplay. When we were looking for change (cabin) we found something out near Jefferson in Stagestop property area. It's a flyfishing mecca.Private access to the Tarryall river and close(drive) to the Plattes,Arkansas,Eleven Mile,Dream stream plus the high country resevoirs.

As far as change since(pot) legalization? My opinion-reflective of the area we live and hangout. Not much change.Especially from a "visibility" (except for the Pot Dispenseries) I think the popularity of the edibles has possible de-emphasized the smoking?( in public) don't have any facts just a thought

anyway, all good up in Southpark .

pic of fishing on the Blue and Snake (near Dillon) and the cabin

glad you enjoyed the fishing up here - I need to do that also...

I grew up on the gulf coast, so I need to learn how to fly fish....
I'm not so sure that fish and game would appreciate my gill & cast netting skills....
