Default Looking for affordable housing Yoder, CO ??

We are on a tight budget. We are looking at Colorado Springs area and south of there like Pueblo, Trinidad but want to be around a larger city for work of course. Will have around 120k to spend for a home with land. We need some land for our 2 llamas. Manufactured home is fine and big shop and fenced would be nice.

Our home in Oregon is up for sale, so we should have cash to do this at some point.

We are planing a trip weather permitting leaving here Thursday, getting in the area by Saturday to look around.

Any comments or on area would be greatly appreciated. We know that the Yoder area is flat and barren we are ok with that, don't need to be in the pine trees

Canon City, west of Pueblo is perfect for you.
It is 40 miles south of Colorado Springs and 35 miles west of Pueblo.
It is in the foothills with mild weather and very affordable housing with land, plus. irrigation available.
It is very green....considered the climate capitol of Colorado...the banana belt.

Cripple Creek, well, on your way to Cripple Creek, there are Llama farms. It's hard to get to in the winter though.

Black Forest, to the North of Colorado Springs, has Llama farms and is nice but, pricey.

Good Luck, hope you find your dream home!!

You might check out Avondale or Fowler. They are a half hour or less from Pueblo and you could definitely afford to get a home with acreage and shops on site in your price range.
