We are thinking of moving our family later this year....BUT....I need help

We love the cold and snow and my husband and boys love to hunt

What counties or cities should we be looking in for hunting?

We do have 2 boys in school, ages 14 and 16. Two out of school and a new grandbaby.

Diverse Country living where we there is wildlife?

Where should I start

What is the plan for income? What is the budget? What are they planning to hunt? Colorado is a big state, is a diverse landscape, and a very diverse cost of living.

We work at home so jobs are not important

We would like to rent at first.

4/5 bedroom house on 10 acres....or similar

They would probably hunt anything but are used too deer and small game

Maybe I should add we are moving from Alabama and here we have 13 acres

Mountains or plains? Colorado is two states in one in that respect. Budget?

What is your budget for a rental? Are you wanting to live in the mountains or are the plains okay? I will tell you now that the counties already mentioned are all on the plains and one consideration is going to be internet access, in more rural counties where you can find acreage on rentals than many areas do not have dependable internet service. In fact many are forced to sign up for satellite internet service, which is expensive and not always dependable.

What about cell service in the rural counties? Either is fine as it is country and they can hunt.

Acreage is very important....I have no idea what rents are there...I would guess 1500 to 2500 would be in our budget

Doesn't matter as long as it's acreage...up to 2500
