Arrow Consitering moving to Colorado-but have some issues..

Well First issue is I have a pitbull mix...so I need to know about some towns that will accept him because I know there is a big bsl ban in some places. Also smaller towns always work better, Ive looked into places like Broomfield and Cripple Creek, but would be intrested in others...If anyone has some input that would be awesome! Thanks

I don't know about pit bull bans in either of those places, in fact I don't know much at all about Cripple Creek. You have picked two very different places, about 130 miles apart. What are your plans for Colorado? Work: School? Etc?

While there are some places with Breed Specific Bans in place, there are more areas w/o them.

So, why don't you tell us what's important to you in a community/neighborhood/property beside a safe place for the dog?

I believe Fort Collins is not as pit bull friendly as other towns in the area. Although I am not sure that they have implemented any specific bans. If you are interested in this area you may want to look into Johnstown, Timnath, Wellington, Severance. These are all small towns in that area.

I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix so unfortunately my dog is labeled as a pit bull and many of the Breed Specific Bands affect my dog as well. I know the Denver is not a city you can live in since they have a very strict law and they will actually seize and euthanize your dog, crazy I know. But also avoid Aurora, Castle Rock, Commerce City, Fort Lupton, Lonetree, Louisville, La Junta and Wellington. All of these cities have some sort of breed ban. I have been researching this since I am looking to relocate to Colorado with my dog. I am struggling more with finding apartments that will allow my dog more than a city that I can live in. Good luck with your search
