I like that it tried to get some different locations around the state, but what do you think of the list? I'm sure most will have different ideas of what places should be on the list. But Casa Bonita, whatever you think of the food - yeah, you have to go at least once, it is just unColoradan not too!

If you go to Casa Bonita you should probably do that one last because there's a very good chance the food will kill you.

This is a very odd list. Bingo Bugar for Pueblo. Really?

1. Palace Arms at the Brown Palace in Denver
2. Petite Chablis in Cañon City
3. Little Nell, Aspen Colorado
4. Pepper Tree Colorado Springs
5. Briarwood Golden, used to be good. Now?
6. Mataam Fez East Colfax, been a long time, still good?
...

The next 6 are not mine. They are from the comments of the link above...

7. Edleweiss, German food in CoSprings
8. Buckhorn Exchange, Denver
9. Taco Mex 1, Colfax and Trenton
10. The Fritz, Salida
11. The Universal for Sunday brunch on 38th and Federal, unknown local spot
12. Sam's #3 in Aurora

Don't eat at Casa Bonita. It tastes like weasle barf. But go across the street to that Chicago hotdog place.

Speaking of the food killing you, that hamburger with bacon on donuts at Crave Real Burgers will do a number on you. I'm surprised that's popular here. It belongs in Ohio or Mississippi.

2/3 of the restaurants were Front Range, not bad when you consider distribution of population in the state. What would your list be?

Weird list. Have only been to three and most of the others I have no interest in. My list would have The Fort, The Fawnbrook Inn in Allenspark, Sweet Basil in Vail.

Panny's Pizza, Ridgway
The Stonehouse, Montrose
Handlebars, Silverton
il Bistro Italiano, Grand Junction
Outlaw, Ouray
