I live in southern OK just 15 min north of TX. I don't mind our heat but the humidity sucks. I've been thinking of moving to Colorado. I was actually born in pueblo and lived there until I was 10. I never had allergy issues until I moved to OK. However I would like a place to live that isn't a tiny town, has very little super cold days, good schools for children, and is fairly close to a University (I'm in college) and fairly close to OK because my family is here in OK. Any suggestions?

Durango has Ft. Lewis College, UCCS in Colorado Springs, and then there's Denver.
You won't find palm trees anywhere in CO though, so winters are pretty cold wherever you go. All relative, I suppose.

Pueblo / Pueblo West would be the warmest and closest to OK. Colorado Springs gets more snow but has a bigger university. There are several websites out there that rate schools or search for and look thru old threads.
