\_(ツ)_/ Best of luck to ya.

Already did my sentence in Texas. Wouldn't move back to that place for any amount of money. Living there made me realize just how good I had it here.

Yeah, but it's not even to Dallas though. It's Amarillo, the Pari.....I mean Pueblo of the plains.

It's cheap there - what can I say?

Unlike Dallas - where the median cost of new construction just crossed the $300,000 mark. Why people would shell out that much money for a house in the Metroplex is beyond me. Almost zero scenic beauty, endless sprawl, and a wretched climate to boot.

I don't think I've ever had a liberal come up to me and try to push or share their views with me....EVER in life. Anywhere.

I didn't know political discussion/discourse could be that suffocating.....

We liberals are boring anyhow.
Really? I am more middle of the road, and I have had liberals try to push their beliefs on me at least a couple of times a week for years.

When I was a wee lad, and I'm going back a good 60 years now, my father told me to never discuss two things in a bar: Religion and Politics.

Heh. I had to ban political discussions with my father because he kept trying to convert me to his conservative talking points.

When I was in RN school, they told us never to discuss religion, politics or sex.

I don't know if that applies to the middle of a night shift. Sure hope not, or else we're all in trouble.

Ha! Said old man also told my wife and I that we should find a good (particular kind of) church!
