Living and working on the western slope of Colorado, don't want to spend the rest of my life here tho....Looking for a great small mountain town at some point. Considered areas would be Oregon, Washington, Montana, Arizona, and Idaho. Would like any feedback from anyone out there that knowns where some great mountain towns are, the smaller the better...

how about Durango? Leadville? Glenwood Springs? you can search these threads for info on these towns...hope that helps

There are some very pretty areas in the mountains outside of Spokane near the Idaho/Washington border. Dated a guy from that area. Don't know a lot about it...post in the Washington or Idaho forum and you might get some educated responses.
