Hi guys i live in Colorado springs and I have 2 buddies coming over. I already have a sportsman but they are looking for a place to rent and drive straight from there. problem is I dont have a 3x atv trailer. just 1 trailer for my own ATV. so they will need to rent an ATV and drive off right from the spot

I so far know about st Elmo. I know you can rent then drive off. Anywhere else you guys know of that is within 2 hours from COS?

I've driven by this place a buncha times. No idea (and no affiliation) if you can utilize the area/trail system they use without paying for a guide/etc.... but thought I'd toss it out there just the same.

there's another place by Texas Creek but they appear spotty on when they are in operation. Seems to be a lot of trails in this area...

good luck

Grand Lake option On The Trail Rentals | Grand Lake Colorado ATV, Side by Side and Mountain Bike Rentals
with longer drive to

Probably something workable in Crested Butte area http://www.allcrestedbutte.com/summe...tv_offroad.php
Mention of a meet you at the trailhead option. That might be fairly common. Check around.

Probably other options in Salida or Brecenridge area.

Woodland Park maybe? Not sure how close they are to drive out to the trail, but you could call and ask.

Try googling atv rentals in Colorado, possibly some will deliver/pickup at a trailhead.

Sprit Lake Rentals in Grand Lake will deliver their units to the Stillwater Pass trailhead. Once you finish filling out your rental paperwork, you will simply follow their driver down to the trailhead.

The trail system is not difficult or aggressive but it is very scenic.
