Hi all,

Do kids in Ridgway participate in Montrose area little league baseball? And maybe it's not even little league sanctioned, as I see the city of Montrose appears to coordinate many activities.

Same question actually applies for any kids, under high school aged sports living in Ridgway - soccer, softball, gymnastics.

Thank you very much, Jason

I don't have an answer for you and I'm not sure any of our members in that area have kids. My suggestion is to see if there is a Facebook group in that area, we have one here called "Vail Moms" and they are a great resource for all that info.

Ridgway schools have basketball, soccer, track. A new very nice huge soccer field in town also. Why would they go all the way to Montrose?

Thank you, yes, understood on the school sports and agreed on preferably not driving to Montrose.

My question pertains to non-school sponsored youth sports, i.e., little league baseball, AYSO soccer, or club soccer (think Montrose Avalanche), etc. I do not know if the town draws enough kids to complete a sizable league of play without integrating other communities).

Thanks.
