Colorado info reply
Greetings, I surmise by your "kids2001" that you have four young children. So, are you seeking a small rural community or suburbs near a large city. What parts of CO. did you visit that you loved. The members can help steer you to info and opinion threads on almost any town/city in the state based on as many specifics as you can offer.

Kids2001, you need to tell us more before we can help you, especially your price range for a house or rental budget, the type of home or apartment you seek, your job situation, and any special situations. Most of the Front Range from Fort Collins to Pueblo will meet your needs for good schools and safety. However, prices vary greatly.

Yep! Colorado is abundant with good school districts, but they all vary by cost of housing and access to specific areas.
Is commute time an issue for you? I know you mentioned your husband will be driving trucks. Will you need something close to a major highway for a quick commute for driving locally, or will he do interstate trips and that's not an option? Do you want to stay close to an urban area, like Denver, but keep a suburban feel for your family? Or would you like something more rural? There's a lot of great options, but they all vary depending upon what's top on your priority list.
