It's the way a lot of drone footage looks if it isn't color corrected. I use one at work and anything thing with magenta or purple hues comes out way too strong and has to be edited down. Photos are easy, but color-correcting video like that is both difficult and time consuming. Other than the splotches on the canyon walls, I thought it looked great. Beautiful part of the country for sure.

I've lived in GJ for over a dozen years. I love the outdoor activities: hiking, biking, camping, etc. And so close to southern Utah.

The job market is terrible here, even with a good college degree. But I'd rather starve here than feast in Denver.

I'm not a skier, but I've noticed that one of the things that has helped Grand Junction from a standpoint of outdoor activities is skiing, of all things. I've spent close to three decades here, and have never seen as much snow on the Grand Mesa as I have this past couple weeks. While the Powderhorn Resort won't ever be compared to the Vails and Aspens, they've had a great year for business. Their base is at 61 inches with 8 inches the last week.

Powderhorn might not be Vail/Aspen, but then it doesn't cost you your first born son to spend a day skiing there!

Powderhorn was good enough for me to break my leg there the first time I went skiing. I got the message loud & clear and decided skiing wasn't for me :>)
