hey all, so just wondering if tincup pass still has a lot of snow left? was thinking of going atving there and checking out the scenery

we will be staying at a hot springs resort then just atv for a few hours

if not, I can just drive to buena vista or divide and atv there - but im hoping tincup is ridable now

It is likely to still have a foot or two of snow and more is expected Friday. According to this site it doesn't seem to be passable yet. http://bushducks.com/tripreps/passopen.htm#tincup
Looks like it is typically early July or late June before it is open all the way.

It'll all be snow covered in there. At least once you get off in the woods. Near the lake might be dry. They got hammered in that part of the state this year. It's still snowmobiling season there.

Atvs can only do about 8 in. of snow and there will be more than that.
