Folks ... Howdy. Just got back from Durango and it looks like we will be relocating there : What cell phone carriers work best in Durango/La Plata county? Our Cingular was very spotty. And I may need to re-up before the move. Your information/thoughts/experience is much appreciated.

The Four Corners use Alltel quite often. I think it is the best in the area. I am in Farmington, New Mexico and I know Durango uses Alltel, so does Farmington. They used to have a store in bodo park but I think it is on Main now. I sent you a Private Message too about that so look for it.

Hey Aggie

I think ILUVNM is right on for DGO. Just wanted to add that I hooked up with a Sprint plan through Radio Shack in Dgo. If you have a Radio Shack where you live now, they will set you up with a cell phone number with a Dgo area code (970) ahead of time so you will have your new number while planning and executing your move -- good for making plans in/around Dgo before you actually arrive (maybe others will do this to?). Anyway, good luck and congratulaltions!
