Same here. Been looking at Cuchara and Trinidad for some time. In the village o Cuchara there is a new building that the rest of the business owners act like they have no idea what is going in. I bet it is a pot shop and that will discourage me more. I love the area for the outdoor's life.

We eventually bought in the Westcliffe area. Not sure where you're based, but I'd take a look at the area and would highly recommend it.

Your fear of pot shops is irrational. If you will ignore them, they will ignore you.

Seriously.

Had forgotten, but the realtor we worked with did tell us they were building a marijuana processing facility there, but not sure where.

That will be a big turn off. It is just such a cute little village with pottery and little shops along with Dog Bar and Timbers, I hate to see that. It could move on down the road to Veta or something.

No, but wouldn't want to see a wine shop in there either. Keep it cute.
