And then there's Bedrock, close to the Utah border, just a hop, skip, and a jump to-----(drum roll please)---Paradox!

Ahhh, Bedrock! Just thinking about that makes me want to hide out in my mancave for all of Memorial Day weekend and watch my old Flintstones videos. I can hear Fred Flintstone yelling

W-I-L-M-A!!!!

I don't know if there will be time after downtown Placerville! And don't forget Rico.

But only if they don't get hung up in rush hour traffic in the Nucla/Naturita metro area.

Yes, so sad to see Nucla/Naturita taken over by all those Californians and Texans - the gridlock these days is awful! But not to worry, brightdoglover. I know a secret short-cut across the Uncomphaghre Plateau as well as the backway into Bedrock via lovely Egnar - a must see for anyone visiting this part of Colorado. OH! And the Hanging Flume up Highway 145 - you MUST see the Hanging Flume! (which actually is pretty cool and worth the stop to admire it)

It sounds like the almost completed 8 lane beltway that goes around Nucla-Naturita to avoid the congestion of city center.
