Last I heard, the protesters downtown Denver who shout his demise every Tuesday at noon have pretty much scared him right out of the state!

Well, the good Senator has finally popped out of his prairie dog hole to have a town hall meeting, tomorrow (Friday, 04 Aug, at 2:30PM) and it will be held in Durango...home to a whopping 19,000 of Colorado 5.5 million people, or 0.00345% of his constituents.

About 10 days ago, I sent an email to both Bennett and Gardner regarding a bill currently in the Senate (nothing controversial) asking them to vote in favor of it. Got an acknowledgement from Bennett within 48 hours. Nothing from Gardner.

That's funny! A few months ago, I emailed all three of my congressional delegation-Bennet, Gardner and Polis. Gardner responded in about 24 hours, Bennet months later, Polis never.

He did a telephone town hall the other night. I didn't sign up ahead of time to participate but it was live streamed so I listened to some of it. Apparently, he will also be doing more of those this month too. Anyone in the state can participate.

Well LaPlata County is home to about 60,000 of his constituents & the liberal bastion known as Durango has been making a lot of noise with ALL of their representatives so it's about damn time he came down here. Doesn't matter about our population. We still fill the facility at every town hall meeting held by any of our reps here since Jan 20th. We too expect to be heard.

Read all about it in the Denver Post - U.S. Sens. Cory Gardner and Michael Bennet, along with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton, are holding a joint town hall Friday afternoon in Durango after visiting the Gold King Mine with EPA chief Scott Pruitt.

Gardner only had the guts to hold a live town hall when he could hide behind the Governor and Tipton and Bennet. I think the fact that Gardner could pretend to care about the infamous Gold King Mine Spill which turned the Animas River into a toxic chemical dump and is getting Colorado sued by the state of New Mexico and the chance for a good photo op are behind his sudden willingness to reappear.

Meanwhile he has moved his Denver office temporarily to the US Customs building in Denver. Permanent Denver office location to be announced later. Gardner is STILL on the run, playing musical chairs with his office location in the city in which the vast majority of his constituents reside.

I've read this thread, and it's nothing but a ranting and bashing Gardner and conservatives, nothing more. Keep it up, you're doing a good job representing liberal Colorado.

Those 19,000 people are as important as the other 5.5 million. But I guess Durango is just another basket of deplorables. Add up all those insignificant "whopping 19,000" towns and do you know what you get? You get...........

wait for it...........

President Trump
