Sen. Cory Gardner is nowhere to be found during July 4 recess

https://www.csindy.com/TheWire/archi...y-4-recess-and

The Senator ought to meet his minions to explain his position on the health care vote.

No need to find him, I guess he's out hiking the Appalachian Trail, but I can explain Senator Gardner's stance on the health care bill for you: Yo, 'merikans, bend over.

He hails from Yuma, Colorado. I'll bet a significant portion of funding for the medical clinics in Yuma is from Medicaid.

No wonder he's hiding!

I'm beginning to think Cory Gardner no longer exists - if he ever existed in the first place. Maybe he defected to Russia after the election and is now hanging out with his new BFF - Edward Snowden. Maybe Alferd Packer invited him for dinner and is still making casseroles out of the left overs. Maybe he found Amelia Earhart and moved in with her on her island hide-away somewhere in the Pacific. If Gardner is ever found alive again, I'm sure his Colorado constituents will be the last to know.

2017 is more than half over and Gardner has been too fearful to hold a live townhall anywhere in the state. That health bill he's been working on must be really, really awful - he's so ashamed to show his face and talk about it (or anything else that matters to Coloradans). I've tried calling him several times and I always just get a voice mail recording - can't even talk to one of his staffers. I don't care which party a politician belongs to. A member of Congress should be man enough - or woman enough - to look their constituents in the eye and answer their questions. Gardner calls his constituents "paid callers" and if they try to protest his policies, he likes to have them arrested just like he did those disabled folks who were peacefully occupying his office in Denver. Colorado deserves better than a Senator who is too yellow bellied to actually talk to us. Hope we get rid of him (if we can find him) in 2020.

I guess he figured that no one would believe his claim that "paid protesters" were working over 4th of July weekend when we all know he would be confronted by angry constituents if he showed his face. You can't even get through to his office if you try to call or fax them.

He'll show up...... in time for November 2020. He thinks we'll all forget & re-elect him.

Fat chance......... looking forward to voting against this scumbag.

The hypocrisy of modern politics is stomach churning. In 2010 the Koch Bros, et al, paid to have busloads of people sent around to protest the ACA and disrupt town hall meetings. A partner in a law firm in Texas, former congressman Richard Armey, orchestrated these staged "Tea Party Express" protests. Now this weenie Gardner is whining like a stuck pig when what goes around comes around. Hah!

Opposition to the ACA, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, indeed the entire safety net, is coming from the top 1% who've so stacked the deck in their favor that increasingly all that's left for people are a few crumbs. We have to vote out the GOP, a party I voted for numerous times since 1968, or we'll all end up truly screwed.

Go to YouTube and search on George Carlin for his talk on Who Really Owns America. Note: F Bomb warning.
