Well I've never used the words normal and Telluride in the same sentence, but they were able to open lifts 1-9.

Just thinking of all the business that follow the ski season and tourism. I don't know, aren't there any normal things about Telluride? It seems to have a very active volunteer community, that's normal, no?

It’s never been as dry as it is where we live. Usually our neighborhood streets are covered from Dec through May. I’m worried about front range wild fires this year.

Or our typical March heavy snow will be so bad this year we'll make the network news. I actually hope so. I've had 2" of snow here since September.

In Colorado Springs, these storms have been very weak. There was no accumulation today, and I would say this entire winter has brought maybe 1/4" of accumulation total - at least for the North end of Springs.
