Measured 7" of snow at 9 am and it's snowing to beat the band.
They just closed Boulder Canyon and the Peak to Peak is a sheet of ice under the snow.

The rain changed over to a wet snow in Pueblo so this is officially our first snow of the season.....

Snow ended around 2 pm and the sun is trying to peek through. We received 10" which was on target with the forecasts. That makes 17" for the month so far...

Been fairly mild in the GJ area until yesterday morning. High winds rolled through Mesa County yesterday, steady at 20-25 m.p.h. No precip though.

The NWS in Pueblo just put on Facebook that today is the 20 year anniversery of the blizzard of 97. I drove from Pueblo to Fort Collins in the storm. One storm I will never forget....

After a lovely 70 degree day yesterday... it's snowing as predicted. As of 4 pm we have 3". I don't mind the snow at all, but 24 degrees is a bit RUDE!

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions,
including during the morning commute on Tuesday. Total snow
accumulations of 5 to 10 inches, with localized amounts up to
14 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...West Elk and Sawatch Mountains, Northwest San Juan
Mountains and Southwest San Juan Mountains. This will include
the following mountain passes...Monarch, Slumgullion, Red
Mountain, Lizard Head, Coal Bank, and Molas.

Slushy in Widefield/Security/Fountain this morning but commute in Colorado Springs was bone dry at that time. We'll see what it is like after work.
