This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The next storm system will drop into northern portions of eastern
Utah and western Colorado around sunset. This storm will then spread
snow across the northern and central mountains and the northern
portion of the San Juan mountain range overnight. Snow is also
likely to fall in the upper portions of the Yampa...Colorado and
Eagle River Valleys. Winter driving conditions can be expected
tonight and impacts to travel will include icy to snow packed
roadways and reduced visibility due to snowfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A series of Pacific storms on the Polar Jetstream will break
down the strong Western ridge that has been in place. The next
significant system could arrive by the weekend. Again this will
impact travel over the high country and some lower elevations due
to snow and icy conditions.

We had light snow in Pueblo proper as the first of 3 storms by Christmas hit the state overnight.

Currently snowing here in the San Luis Valley. Looks like we'll get about an inch by the end of the day. Very happy to see it!

Mesa County didn't even get that, sadly. Got about 5 minutes of cold rain and that's about it.

Two more storms are coming. One should be Thursday and the other will be this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. That means Pueblo could have a white Christmas! In fact the forecast is:

Saturday: High 25 low 0 with snow

Sunday: High 21 low -6 with snow

Monday: High 20 low -3 mostly cloudy
