Hi Everyone, I'm from florida and am going to be moving to the Pueblo area pretty soon for a job. Knowing nobody there at all and knowing nothing about the about the area besides what I've read, I was hoping for some advice on areas to live and ways to get to know people my age. I'm looking for an apartment, with a budget of around $800 a month in a nice/cool area. Thanks in advance!

I would suggest downtown or by the university or the north side.

So I've seen a little bit about downtown and by the university is self explanatory. What's north side?

The university is on the north-east side of town. University and Belmont neighborhoods would be closest to it. North side is a neighborhood on the west side of the interstate from the university as are places like Country Club, Skyview, Ridge.

Pueblo isn't huge, but you would do well to get a map and start orienting yourself to locales.
