He's actually from Denmark. Real POS, too. His Facebook page is full of Anti-Semitic and anarchic rantings.

Thanks, learned that from the 6pm meeting last night (it's online). I'm not there, but spouse and pet had to evacuate. We will know in three or four days if his actions manage to burn our house down or not. We have insurance, however sad to see all the destruction.

Mesa County is going to be 98 to 105 for the next several days. The wind was blowing fairly steady at 15-20 m.p.h. this afternoon.

Sorry to hear y'all are affected. It won't surprise me at all if it comes out he's one of those anti-government, off-grid/zombie apocalypse prepper types who're flocking to places like Costilla County because of cheap land and lax building codes. Hopefully this will entice the counties in the valley to crack down on that dumbassery.

Major change on the High Chateau Fire - it is now called the "Chateau" fire.

Actually, the news does seem encouraging, but fires do whatever fires do.

The Spring Fire is now the lead story on 5 o'clock ABC News. And they are saying now that they are up to 80,000 acres burned.
