$3300 will not get you a rental in Vail. Look at Eagle-Vail for a great community along with Edwards, specifically Homestead or Singletree, plan on upping your budget or look at Eagle.

Eagle County Charter Academy is well regarded as a public school, there are others. I suggest you go on Facebook and join Vail Moms for some real information from people who live here.
She wasn't referring to lifties and bartenders -- you are correct those are childless 23 year-olds. She was referring to the other, often forgotten seasonal workers: housekeepers, landscapers and the many who are employed by the working ranches (and even a few farms) in Eagle county.

Again she is wrong and so are you. Those housekeepers and landscapers are not forgotten, they are the only reason this valley is able to be what it is. Those folks are not seasonal they work hard in the winter and in the summer, raise their families here, contribute to the economy and community. Seasonal workers do not move here with their families, they can not afford to live here. A significant amount of seasonal workers are on J1 visas or young enough to to have fun stuffed into employee housing, they don't bring children who impact our school system.

Please since you don't live here and only have incorrect second hand knowledge find another thread to comment on in which you can contribute something useful.
