Need to find a 3 month lodging in Durango. Would like to stay alone, possibly rent a condo or go to an extended stay hotel. Any thougths where to look? Thank you!

Don't go for the North Main St budget hotels. Too many crime stories. Especially avoid one at far north overlooking train tracks.

They have had weekly rates in past during off season. Not fancy but could work. Just west of town. Being out of downtown helps but not saying it is totally free from possible risk.
Could call one of the national chain motels, ask for manager, make a weekly or monthly rate offer, see if they yes or no. Or try same with a vacation rental or airbnb. They likely say no in summer or ski season but might say yes in transition times.
Might try a temp housing wanted ad on Craigslist westslope. Ads with some bio details, even a picture, probably draw more attention.
Probably can find a condo if you contact the larger properties or a property management firm. One company:
