These fronts just keep on coming! Been raining pretty good for the last couple hours in GJ/Mesa County. Calling for snow at 8000 ft.

Yep, it was pretty warm in Mesa County yesterday and there was a big system behind all this pushing that warm in. Like what's up in Jim's area, 6-12" is forecast for the Grand Mesa and the central mountains of Colorado. It might even snow in the Grand Junction area, won't last long but the hard freeze coming with it is a concern to the fruit growers. By Thursday the GJ area will be down to 45 degrees for a high!

WaPo has a good article on the storm that's going to hit the middle of the nation this week.

Excerpt: "Blizzard warnings have been hoisted in the northern Plains, with winter storm warnings from the Continental Divide to the Great Lakes. To the south, a major windstorm is gathering steam."

Yep! Yesterday we had 15 minutes of rain that roared in as fast as I've ever seen it. Mesa County has had 30-35 mph gusts all day. No rain yet, but it's coming!
