We were fortunate to get 12.5" of beautiful, fluffy, sparkling snow. Skiing was lovely at Eldora today (though a bit cold).

This is looking like a GREAT year for snow. Will make up for the terrible year last year.

Get ready for a couple systems coming from the Pacific. One passed through Mesa County yesterday morning and one this morning. The snow level on the Bookcliffs looks to be around 6500 ft. MOL. I know the "Passenger Car Traction Law" message was flickering nonstop on the C-DOT digital board on I-70 at mile marker 21 for the day. Two more small systems rolling in this weekend.

I got a weeks worth of food and plenty of turkey, dressing, and pumpkin pie in the fridge. And of course adult liquid refreshments. Come on moisture--let 'er rip!

We don't need no stinking drought!
We don't need no stinking fires!

5" of snow in Fruita last night and this morning.

And Colorado Rambler should be doing a happy dance! GJ's NBC affiliate KKCO is reporting 10" of snow in Cortez which is VERY good news!. Up and down the western slope the amounts vary. But this storm helped a lot. Now--how about more of them?
