Hello,

There's not a whole lot of information about road conditions of the Fryingpan Rd through Meredith, continuing to Eagle on Dutch Dr/Powerline Rd. Are these roads open and in decent condition?

Thanks in advance

If you are thinking about Eagle-Thomasville Road (that goes past Woods Lake/Sylvan Lake) as long as it is dry the road is not too bad. At the entrance to the road (from the Meredith/Thomasville side) there is a sign that says "Impassable When Wet" and I can tell you that is true. I've spent a lot of time up along that road hunting deer & elk and I have had to put chains on my 4x4 many times in both rainy and snowy conditions, in both summer and fall. The road is closed a few miles in when there is enough snow for snowmobilers; I'm not into that but my buddy was over there snowmobiling last winter and said it was great.

Thanks for your input. I think it would be wise for me to drive this road in summer when the weather is a bit more predictable.
