The Cherry Creek urban area is located just southeast of downtown Denver along Cherry Creek and its bike path to downtown. The area is know for its upscale dining, retail, art galleries, residential, and mix of architectural styles. I hope you enjoy the tour.

Interesting store.

A quick look at some of the single family residential in the CC area. Nice tree lined streets with a lot of architectural styles and pedestrian focused.

Ragerunner1...what can I say, but WOW! So many wonderful photos. I had been out to Colorado many years ago and loved it. I've seen quite a few beautiful places there, but I never got to see Old Colorado City and Pearl Street. They look so very cool!!! Thank you for posting!!!

Here are some pics of downtown Golden, Colorado I took. Golden was established in 1859 during the gold rush and is located on the westside of Denver next to the Rocky Mountains. The town is home to the Colorado School of Mines (4,000 students) the Coors facilities, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The town's current population is about 20,000. RTD's new western light rail line is currently under construction and will extend out to the town.

Colorado Mountaineering Center

Park next to downtown on Clear Creek.

Coors Plant.

Manitou Springs is a small town of about 5,000 on the western edge of Colorado Springs. The town was established in 1888 and is know for its mineral springs (2 dozen). Today you can still drink from different spigots thoughout the town and taste the different water flavors. The town is also home to the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, the highest railway in the northern hemisphere (14,100).

So many great photos, and so many nice looking towns out there in Colorado. It will be difficult choosing where to live when we finally move out there. I'm really liking Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, and Golden. Thanks so much, ragerunner! Looking at all of your wonderful photos...it's almost like being there!

Englewood is located south of Downtown Denver and has a current population of 32,000. The community was founded in 1903 and is located along the C and D light rail lines. The historic downtown area has some really nice signage going on. The pics were taken during a work day morning. As I was leaving things were starting to pick up.

Capitol Hill is located southeast of Downtown Denver and covers about 80 blocks. It is Denver's most dense neighborhood, residential wise, and has a wide mix of architectural styles and design. The neighborhood is very pedestrian focused with the streets covered in tree canopies. Its a great urban neighborhood that alive and growing. Hope you enjoy.
