Actually, the art museum is kind of cool. Colorado residents can get in free on, I believe it is the first Saturday of each month. Worth the admission price!

It's every Sat. It's the one museum that doesn't have sporadic free days. Only catch, you don't get to see special exhibits.

Being that this is not related solely to Colorado, I figure this is the correct place to post...

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Mayhem Festival? It's being sponsored by KBPI and Rockstar Energy Drink. My 18 yr old son wants to go (he's only been to one other concert, The Fray at Red Rocks.) I've been reading on their message board about all the drugs and stuff that people are planning on using while there. Would anyone recommend this concert for a kid this age? Thanks!

hmm, well, you do realize that an 18 yr. old is going to be around drugs/alcohol no matter? I mean, at concerts such as the one you are asking about, they'll def. be some kind of illegal substance, but that doesn't mean your kid is going to pick it up and do it. I think the Mayhem concert is a wild one, but like I said, your kid is 18 and an adult now. Time to set him free momma bird!!

: )

If anyone wants to send me a DM, please send me a "friend" invitation. I have disabled my DMs to all but friends due to a troll on another forum.

You know, those trolls can cause a lot of trouble. I'm not going to get into specifics but some troll caused me a world of issues on another "back east" forum. But what goes around will eventually come around. I will see to that!

I've just been completely rubbed wrong in the Denver forum, and just wanted to let you guys know I think I'll be bowing out for awhile. I'm happy to accept DMs though.
