Talking Moving to Bayfield!

Well thanks to all for the information provided on this forum. My wife and I close on a 25 acre property in Bayfield on the 12th of January!
Now we just have to get the house here in Phoenix sold and then let the fun begin.
Thanks again for all the advice.
Azjnson

wow, how nice for you! My husband & I are looking at Bayfield. Our price range would be around $250-275k. We would want at least a 4bd w/ at least 1/4acre. Since you obviously have the market fresh in your mind; do we have a chance? Congrats!

Thanks,
We were looking for more land in our search but we did see a few houses in your price range.
If you want I can recommend our realtor who was fantastic in helping us find our place.
Good luck in your search.
Azjnson

that would be great, thanks Azjnson. You should have no problem selling your house in Pheonix. I heard that city is growing & getting expensive.

Talking Moving to Bayfield

Hi, My fiance and I just got back from a trip to New Mexico and Colorado and we are planning to relocate from Illinois to the southwest corner of Colorado. We really liked Durango but are finding the housing is way too expensive for our budget. However, we found that Bayfield is more in our range and are looking for housing there. We have found that a 3 bed/3 bath is right around $350,000 with up to an acre lot. We especially liked the Forest Lake subdivision properties. Is anyone familiar with that area? Any tips about moving to this area?? Any information, whatsoever, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and looking forward to having conversations with other people who are looking to relocate to this area or who already live there.

Have a great day!
Shar

Hi, I was wondering if you have had any luck finding a home to purchase in Bayfield. My fiance and I are interested in moving to that area as well and would love to exchange notes with you. Please let me know how your search is going. We were originally looking for a property with acreage but now feel that if we buy a "starter home", we can move in and do a lot more research before purchasing something permanently.

Would love to hear from you if you have the time.

Have a great day,
Shar
