My local Mom's group would like to go camping for a long weekend this summer. Now, most of our kids are around 2 years old. We would love to have direct access to easy hiking trails and big grassy areas for the kids to run...a stream near by would be great too...no river! But we also need showers and it should be located within 2 hours of Colorado Springs. Any suggestions??

My suggestion is for Jellystone Park (Yogi Bear's) . Tons of activities for the kids. It is right across from the Royal Gorge Bridge. They have hay rides, pool, etc. Check out their website, it is really cool!!
Their address is 43595 Highway 50. Phone is 719-275-2128. |
