Default Rifle, CO

Just moved to the area, actually staying in Steamboat now but looking to move to Rifle area because of work. Cant seem to find a whole lot of rental properties in that area via local paper(rifle). Any ideas?? Also girlfriend is looking for employment in the medical field. She has used the internet to search but has come up with nothing. The stats for this area are from 2000, can i find anything more current???
Any help out there??? Thanks

You are going to find rental properties very difficult to find in Rifle because of the booming oil and gas industry. If you do find a place, chances are it will be very pricey. You may have to look outside of Rifle for housing. Parachute, Battlement Mesa, Silt and DeBeque are all towns along the I-70 corridor with potential housing. However, I think you will find it difficult. Rifle has a small hospital that is always hiring as far as I know. My husband is an RN and he is always getting flyers trying to recruit him there. You may also want to consider Grand Junction. If you are in the oil and gas industry there are plenty of companies based out of GJ also. Your chances of finding rental housing would be greater, as well as opportunities for your girlfriend.
