And then you have the hantavirus disease to contend with as well, caused by deer mice droppings. A good friend of mine in Durango lost a friend of his to that insidious desease. Jim told me she was sweeping out a barn and became violently ill all at once. Got chills, had a violent headache, and a fever of 103. Got hauled into the clinic but died. I don't know many people have died since they diagnosed this disease but it's a lot. I don't have a mouse problem where I live, near Fruita, but I scrub the heck out of flooors and inside cabinets. This is a sickness you ndon't want to mess with! Jazzlover, do have any friends in the medical field who are working on this problem? It has been a while since I've seen a death reported in the Post, News, Sentinel here in Junction. Any news on making headway on this?
