Try Wild Oats, Vitamin Cottage, your local co-op, or (my favorite) Sunflower Market -- which is opening up two more branches next month, one in Littleton/HR and the other in the west Highland neighborhood in North Denver. I've been to TJ's and I much prefer Sunflower (though I'll admit they're apples and oranges).

Ouch. I wasn't judging, just homesick and missing a few things. And I wasn't saying Colorado didn't "measure up" to anything. if CA was so "perfect" in my mind, I wouldn't have encouraged my husband to move us here.

I can also make a lovely list of what I love about CO, it's just yesterday I was missing a few things.

peace.

We do not have a Trader Joe's where I live now.
I've had family and friends buy from them and bring and send me things through out the years.
I also found a personal shopper on one of those well known online auction sites that will shop at Trader Joe's for a fee.

Speaking of recycling...is there a recycling center in CO or only home pick up?

Thank you I_LUVNM! I'll have to take some more time and read through it.
Just curious if there is a recycle center that pays us and us not them. Unless there is no CRV charge in CO?

Default We're doing just fine...

One of the reasons is we don't have this:

Santa Monica
Six blocks from the beach, five blocks from the homeless camp, one block from gridlock.
1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom House
600 Square Feet
$869,000

That's right folks, that's eight sixty nine.

How are the CA transplants doing?-200705smsmall_869k.jpg

We need to let Lisa be a little homesick. It's not easy to pack up and move one's family 1000+ miles. Pretty soon she will like (love?) Colorado for Colorado and California for California.

I was not critizing you. I just said give yourself some time. It is hard to move even within the same state sometimes. Then if you still don't like it move again. Thats all.

lol, that's one of the reasons why we left .

thanks for the personal shopper tip thunderbird.

Feeling less homesick today. did call all my friends and told them the price I paid for gas here. and my daughter rode a mechanical horse at the grocery store for 1 cent! I died laughing and then took a photo to send to folks in CA. Yep, many, many good reasons I'm liking and starting to love this state .
