Can you tell us a little more about what you are in search of?
Why are you moving? What type of housing are you looking for? What do you want to know about Eagle? Give us a little more to go on, and then we can help you.
Look at some other posts and see what kind of questions the poster asks.
Hope this helps.

Thanks ktk9...just read through jl's thread.....lot of pent up anger against re-locators. Anyway, hardly any posts referring to Eagle, and was just wondering why. I think it's the closest (distance-wise)to the mountain life we can afford. They are developing Eagle Ranch and wanted to know the local reaction to it. Seems there are very strong feelings on development of any kind in the mountains.

Explain your version of 'mountain life', and I'm sure you'll get more info than you ever wanted to know...
'Mountain Life' along the I-70 corridor is merely an extension of Front Range urban sprawl and pollution these days. The forests are dying, too. Read up on pine beetles and make sure you have defensible space where you might live.

Eagle is a cool little town. My ex and my youngest lived there (and Gypsum).
I drove up there once a week to take my son to his Dad's and, I didn't mind. I liked it! Of course, I would stop in Vail , A LOT!!
It was a lot cheaper 10-15 years ago. It's pricier now but, I think you would enjoy the lifestyle there!

Thanks to both replies above. I noted pine beatle infestations last time we were in the area. Will be snooping around Eagle in early June. I understand VVMC may be developing an outpost out there. Both my wife & I will be looking at that.

What does VVMC stand for? I THINK VV is Vail Village......maybe M is for mountain????
I also love Beaver Creek and Avon. They are widly expensive..Wolcott is to the North of Eagle and a little Dude Ranchy. Don't know if it is growing like the rest of the area.
Don't mind me, I just make up my own words as I go along!
