Nope back at ya. Denver doesn't go south of Hampton in that area as you can see here.
Centennial airport is north of E-470 and south of Arapahoe road on Peoria and is in no way in Denver proper or Denver County. It's in what's call Englewood, and I thought it was renamed Centennial. I used to work off Jordan road south of Arapahoe road and it used to be called Englewood and it's Centennial now.
But South Denver, no. When you look at the Centennial Airport conditions, they call it Centennial, Colorado.

(Disclosure i am a real estate agent Lots of posts on here so not sure if this has made the list yet. Ridgway.
My wife and kids moved here 3 years ago and sometimes feel guilty about how incredibly beautiful it is, and how great the people are. It's a great mix of liberals, and conservatives. The town council and planning and zoning are very balanced. There are 5fourteeners out of some folks windows, luch pasture land, jeep trails galore, etc.[mod cut]
Cheers!

Lived in Ridgway for the last 3 years and the above comments are mostly right on. Ridgway gets much more sun than Ouray, and 1/3 the snow. Both are stunning. I will say most of the people that I meet coming from the front range, or any other major metro area, are just trying to find a way to get here in the next 5 years.

I am not sure what you are looking for exactly but if you don't have your heart set on a mountain view, there is a very small (maybe sixty people) town called TwoButtes. It is the filled with the nicest people alive but there is not much there anymore. There are a few small towns with nice schools within thirty minutes so I think that if people would move a few businesses close by this area would be the best place to live/raise a family. It is mostly farming land but with some imagination you could build anything there. The homes are extremely nice, affordable and come on big lots.

Two Buttes Rocks!!!!!!!!
Yeah!!!!!!!! Shout out for Two Buttes!!!!!! We went there for dinner once, I do believe. Do you know if that little restaurant is still open?
It's right by the great metropolis of Vilas, right! Very tough in Basketball and perhaps 6 or 8 man football, and not far from Springfield.
I heard Two Buttes once had their own High School and this kid went out for marching band. At halftime, when the Band took the field, they formed a "Period". Then the next year, the band doubled in size and when they took the field at half time, they were able to form the "Comma".
Badum Ch! Just kidding! Beautiful country out there! Great American Grasslands, right? Or is that a bit further to the west? In any case, it's a great place to get friendly with the Schwans Man, right? Otherwise, when you buy that gallon of ice cream in Lamar, you gotta speed to get it home in time!

The only smell I've ever noticed there is the smell of money.

Lake City is a beautiful mountain town/area over 8000 ft. elevation. Bring in your own business, like the texan attitude & what they think is a true mountain living experience, expect everything you would need to purchase to be extreemly expensive, watch where you walk , it's owned & you're tresspassing, school system (you better look deep into that!!!!!) Some great oldtimers still hangin' in there. Take lot's of money, they need it. Yep, bitter, but wiser. Was there too many years.
