We are currently living in Fort Collins and want to move clo ser toDenver this fall. We do not know where we want to live. We like being near the mountains, but want to be closer to Denver and the ski hills. But, we also like the small town feel of Fort Collins, not to mention the schools here are great.
Is there anything like that but just a bit closer to Denver?
We are considering Morrison, Golden, Genesse and maybe Boulder, but Boulder seems to rich for our blood. Morrison, Golden and Genesse seem a it too small though.
Any thoughts!
Katie

My thoughts are stay put. F.C. is a great college town with plenty of amenities. The closer you get the Denvoid the worse it gets, and anything in the foothills or remotely close to ski country is pretty much only available to the 'well heeled' crowd these days.

You might take a gander at Lyons, very cute small town in the foothills north of Boulder.

Louisville certainly has that small town feel. While not particularly close to the mtns, it's closer than Ft. Collins is.

Morrison used to be the "hippie town" of the foothills!!
I loved going to concerts at RED ROCKS and, staying in Morrison.

No more......it is expensive just like Evergreen.
I used to think that Castle Rock was the "end of the world" sooo...go figure??

My last job of cutting hair was in Kitteridge..in 1999..my haircuts were 48 dollars. I traveled from Aurora to work there.

I now live in Canon City.....although some complain about 10 bucks for a haircut...I alas DON'T cut hair!! DON'T NEED TO.

I really long for the old Morrison days!! IF I had a chance to afford my home there,.....I would move in a heartbeat!! My home would probably be about 6 mill and,...alas... I couldn't even afford the gutter in front of the house!!LOL!!

That is why I live in the "OASIS" called Canon City!!\GEOGRAPHY!! Right Jazzlover??????????
