ReeseL,

I'd look at Golden. We just found an apartment there and will be moving in a few weeks. You're only 15 minutes from downtown but are basically in the foothills. I don't think you'd really need to go into Denver for anything unless you want to. We appreciate being close to the city because we love the downtown but other than that you could probably get everything you need around Golden.

We're only 20 minutes from Boulder too which is a very cool city.

If you're interested, PM me and I'll give you a link to an on-line photo album my wife posted with pictures of the town. I think it'll give you a nice feel for the area.

What can you tell me about Colorado? 1st. tome there. I here so many beutiful things about your state. We are looking to relocate, and it would be Colorado or Rapid City SD. Are you checking out Denver or some other area of CO?

Not sure what sort of info you're looking for. Except I will tell you to bring sunscreen. People from sunny, hot places always come here thinking they don't need it. In reality, you need it more because we're a lot closer to the sun. The altitude change also throws people off for a day or two. Recently we had guests stay with us from Washington state and they got headaches and felt lightheaded the first 36 hours or so. Just drink lots of water and stay well rested.

If your want other info, let me know. Not sure exactly what you're looking for...

Do you feel the Sun's gravitational pull more as well?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Joke if you must, but some of us take dehydration and sun exposure very seriously...

ok... it's just that we are 93 million miles away from the sun. the elevation change is not a valid reason for a perceived increase in sun exposure.

it's probably because of the thinner atmosphere and diminished protection from UV rays.

The Denver Zoo polar bears just got an awesome shipwreck enrichment structure. Unfortunately Olaf died and won't get to enjoy it.

If you can be a little more specific in your question I'm sure you will get lots of great information.
