Default Would like to move family from FL to Denver, CO area

I would like to move my family from FL to CO.
We are good-hearted people just trying to find a good place in CO with good schools and opportunities for employent.

Can anyone suggest a good place for a Catholic family to raise a family and be somewhat close to Denver for work?

I have spoken to people and kind of liked what I heard about the Lakewood and Louisville areas.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you and have a good day!!

Do you have to commute to Denver for jobs?
If so, how long is the commute?

Thanks,

LAFrench

We enjoy living in Louisville, just ranked #1 by Money magazine. It's very family friendly. If you like more urban environs, I would check Denver or Boulder.

Looking to relocate to Denver area and wanted to get an idea of businesses to apply for IT job (PC/Network Support).
Can anyone recommend any places?
Also, I am researching areas to live around the Denver area. Can anyone tell me about Lakewood, Columbine Valley, or Louisville areas?

Thanks,

LaFrench

Just want to get an ideas from locals and non-locals which area is better to raise a family with two boys.
I was looking at Littleton, Lakewood, Arvada, and possibly Louisville.
I have already spoke to Micktooth about Louisville and it seems nice.

Can anyone share their thoughts and ideas on the locations I listed above.

Thanks in advance,

LaFrench

I move to Castle Rock from South FL in June 08. For all those thinking about moving from South FL, it is a decision you will never regret. Here are the benefits:

* Great weather - no humidity
* More sun here than in South FL
* A lot more to do outdoors
* Very clean city in comparison
* Crime appears non-existent- at least in Castle Rock
* People are at least semi-friendly
* good public transportation
* views everywhere
* great place to raise a family
* cost of living is MUCH cheaper, I mean not even close. Whoever said Denver is more expensive must have lived in the ghetto in South FL. Utilities are much cheaper, gas is cheaper, car insurance is cheaper, you will laugh at how cheap home insurance is, property taxes are laughably cheap also in comparison, housing is cheaper in general- you get a LOT more house for the same money and you may even be able to afford a house with a yard.

Feel free to drop me an email if you want some further insight.
