We're flying into Denver next week and driving to Manitou Springs. I'd like to stop at a Costco on the way but the one in Colorado Springs looks like it's not really on the way. Is there a Costco perhaps South of Denver that would be easy to get to? We'll probably take our GPS. We're going to have 20 people, renting a house and I'd love to stock up on things like cereal, bagels, bread, etc. Thanks in advance!

The one at Park Meadows Mall is right off I25. Take the County Line Rd. exit.

This one? 8686 Park Meadows Center Drive
Lone Tree, Colorado 80124

Sounds perfect. We're coming in at dinner time - any ideas of good places to eat while we're there?

Being a major Denver mall there's plenty of eateries in same area - Red Robin, PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, etc... you'll definitely have your choice!

You could eat at a chain restaurant anywhere anytime; however, since you are in Denver, you could try to experience something unique and/or regional (that's what I like to do when visiting somewhere).

You are a moderator so I would assume you know how to search the threads. Do a search for titles "Denver Restaurants" and see if there is something like I described above.

Thanks for the suggestions Charles, and I will look through those threads but on the day we come in I think we just want to grab some groceries, and stop at a restaurant near Costco or on the way to Manitou Springs. Any suggestions for that route? The problem with some of the postings is that there are no links and since I'm not familiar with the area that means looking up each one to see where it is.

The following week though we have a day and we're going to explore Denver a bit more. I'm also a big fan of local spots.

An absolutely outstanding source of dining and lodging information is

Denver Restaurants: Read Denver Restaurant Reviews - TripAdvisor

It is to dining and lodging what City Data is to real estate and communities.

I've already hit tripadvisor. That's my first stop for trip planning.

If you are headed to the Costco at Park Meadows - I would head straight to Brewery Bar III first and enjoy some chile rellenos.

Oh, no my plans are foiled! Costco closes at 6 pm on Sunday, our flight doesn't get in until around 5 pm! I booked a later flight so we wouldn't have to leave early in the morning to get to the airport but didn't realize that I should have worked Costco closing time's into my plan. *sigh* Oh, well thanks for your help everyone.
