Default Fourth of July activities
Because 4th of July is my favorite holiday, and my daughter's birthday, I'm starting this thread. I decided to post in on the Colorado forum instead of a specific city, so everyone could contribute. There is already a 4th of July thread on the Colorado Springs forum.

I usually take the kids to the carnival over at the independence Stampede in Greeley every year. they have a good display of fireworks at the end of the evening and the kids love to play the games and ride the rides.

We went to the Stampede for DD's 18th bd. Kelly Clarkson was performing a concert. It had been a long time since DH and I had attended a pop music concert!

I usualy have a HUGE BBQ (this year featuring ribs and pulled pork) and then we walk over to the thornton rec center which has one of the best firework displays in the front range. Fun day for all.
