Moving to Fairplay area and need info about schools, rentals, housing, and ect. (houses)

Hello! Me and my family are going to be moving to Fairplay, Co area this month and we need some more information about schools, rentals, and houses around that area.

My son is in high school yet and I was wondering how Fairplay schools are. If they aren't very good what school do you think is better for that area?

Also, I am having trouble trying to find a place to move into. Even if it is a rental at a reasonable price range for the time being until I can find a place to buy. It would be really nice to find a ranch that need a hand and also supplies housing. We sold our ranch in Arizona and need to move before the end of July.

Why Fairplay? Does someone in your family have a job there? If so, you should probably start with the company and ask them for information and help. You are talking about a very large area with relatively few people, so for your high school question, your only choices are the one high school or home schooling.

No, no one has a job up there yet but we have a few friends in the area and we to move up by them. They live in Fairplay but around the area would be fine. The reason I was asking others about the schools is because the friend of ours took her son out of South Park schools and started sending him to Summit Schools.
