Default Moving to CO from Australia

Hi All,

I am looking at relocating to the Denver area from Sydney. I have been to Denver many times. I will be working in the Englewood area. Any suggestions on where to live?

I am after a good neighborhood. I am still undecided if I want a house or a condo. I love boulder and COS but the commute from both these locations may be a bit much.

I have also visited parts of Littleton that seem nice. I would initially rent for a while until I decide which suburb I like then I am plan on buying my own place.

What is the best suburb in Denver?

Thanks

What is best for me,may or may not be best for you.

We can help, but we need to know more - what are you looking for in a new community? urban? suburban? a "new" property? amenities, access to light rail, bowling alley, shopping, pool community? horses? price range? beds? bath? sq ft? yard? How long are you planning on staying? what type of visa will you have?

What's important to you? The best suburb in Denver is the one that fits your needs. Could be one in Englewood, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Denver, Parker, Highlands Ranch, Littleton....

Hi Thanks for your response.

I am single(divorced) 30 something man with no kids. I prefer one way commute time of no more than 45 minutes give or take. I will be staying for an extended period I would think no less then 4 years. I am transferring with my current employer and will have the E3 work visa.

I am currently in a an urban area with a high hip factor, lots of artist, nice restaurants and bars. Its nice but can get a bit crowded and noisy.

My first preference is for a nice safe neighborhood, up market setting and I need a two bedroom home with a two car garage. Town home (in a nice complex) or house.

BTW I also like Aurora.

Thanks

I guess rental price range will be about 1300 to 1500 per month? Do you think this will get me something decent in a nice part of town?
