We just moved here is that what those things are hell, I see them when I go to toward Butch Cassidy there are alot of them hell I lost track the more I drove past the open area they were running across the rode man thats crazy an I see them everyday in that same area,hell I see red foxes just sitting in my truck, I love wildlife, but damn.

OK, just to make things clear, those are NOT prairie dogs. 1. We are NOT on the PRAIRIE, and they are not dogs.

If you want to be "more correct" call them "Steppe Squirrels".

Guys I will be in ft collins Oct 5-10. I am an ethical 41 year old hunter who has 'toted a rifle since I was 4 years old. If you guys found a farmer/rancher that allowed you permission please share your information....if you leave the info here I will call them myself...thanks for the help...scott m.

this could be the most insane thing that i have ever read!! If ethical hunters would not elimitate some of these animals they would suffer disease and starvation, much worse fate than that of a bullet.

It's not huniting if there are 1000 in a field. This is called shooting (or killing if you prefer).

I hunt in the South and was looking for info about big game hunting in N.CO. How crowded are the hills during deer season? Are people teritorial and willing to slit your tires if you are not "local"?
